Bucs concerned about Aqib Talib, Jeff Faine injuries
The Bucs will be examining injuries to cornerback Aqib Talib (hip) and center Jeff Faine (triceps) as the injury bug continues to make its way through the roster.
Neither player returned after leaving the game tonight. Faine was not available for comment after the game, but Talib said he was hopeful his injury wasn't serious.
"I'll probably know something tomorrow," he said. "I was just running on a run play down the line (of scrimmage) and (hurt) my hip. I don’t really know what happened."
Talib clearly had a very limited mobility as he walked gingerly around the sideline watching the game. It was clear to him pretty quickly that his night was over.
"I kind of knew right away," he said. "Hopefully it’s nothing too major and I can (come) right back."
The sideline, he said, was the last place he wanted to be.
"In a game like this, you never want to be on the sideline watching," he said.
Faine suffered a triceps injury last season that caused him to miss a month. It's not clear whether this is the same injury or the same arm.
