Bucs DT Roy Miller returns to practice, dealing with back injury
Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting nose tackle Roy Miller returned to practice Friday, but was limited as he's dealing with back spasms, coach Greg Schiano said.
Schiano said Miller suffered the freak injury while at home Thursday and it was hard for him to get up, but he's markedly better today.
"Hopefully, that will increase and he'll be able to play," Schiano said. "Right now you can't be sure of that.''
Miller had back issues last season, which he played through, but Schiano said the current injury is unrelated. If Miller can't go, DT Gary Gibson would likely replace him.
