Bucs fear Benn is out for the season with a torn knee ligament
The Bucs fear rookie receiver Arrelious Benn tore a ligament in his left knee in the second quarter of Sunday's 38-15 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Benn was undergoing an MRI this morning and the Bucs hope to have more information when coach Raheem Morris holds his weekly news conference at noon.
The injury is expected to be severe enough to knock Benn out of the regular-season finale Sunday at New Orleans. Benn would become the seventh starter to be lost in the past five games.
Benn was replaced in the game by Maurice Stovall, who caught his first touchdown pass of the season.
