Bucs had illegal contact with players during lockout
Bucs coach Raheem Morris had illegal contact with players during the NFL lockout which could lead to a fine, a team source confirmed Sunday.
Morris had telephone conversations with players on seven different occassions, three of them under a minute, one with tight end Kellen Winslow over the birth of his child and one between Morris and former linebacker Niko Koutouvides, who was a free agent and no longer with the team.
General manager Mark Dominik said the team had multiple meetings with the NFL but have not been notified of any impending fine.
