Bucs' injuries are insignificant, according to Raheem Morris
Coach Raheem Morris said several players have been ruled out of the Bucs' final preseason game, on Thursday at Houston.
Guard Davin Joseph (hip flexor), safety Sabby Piscitelli (concussion) and receiver Maurice Stovall (ankle) won't play, Morris said.
But Morris emphasized on several occassions that none of the injuries are considered serious enough to prevent any of the players from participating in the season opener against Cleveland on Sept. 12.
Stovall might be the player most impacted by his injury. He hasn't played since the preseason opener at Miami and will miss his third straight game. He is yet to return to practice, too. At the very least, he's lost his grip on the starting receiver position for which he was slated at the start of the preseason.
Sammie Stroughter is, for all intents and purposes, going to be the starter there on opening.
