Bucs injury update: McCoy, Blount, Stocker absent from practice
The Bucs have begun today's workout here at One Buc Place, and there is very little positive news on the injury front.
Missing from today's workout are defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (ankle), running back LeGarrette Blount (knee) and tight end Luke Stocker (knee). Linebacker Quincy Black is in attendance, though it remains to be seen whether he performs all the day's tasks or is limited by his ankle injury.
Regarding McCoy and Blount, both injured on Sunday against the 49ers, the Bucs are proceeding as if neither will be in the lineup on Sunday against the Saints.
To that end, they are making preparations to play without them. Defensive end Da'Quan Bowers is going to be taking snaps at defensive tackle because of the loss of McCoy. Meanwhile, Earnest Graham is preparing to take the majority of snaps at running back.
