Bucs outbid others to sign Briscoe to practice squad
The Bucs will add Bengals sixth-round pick Dezmon Briscoe to their practice squad after outbidding others for his services.
Briscoe, a receiver released by Cincinnati on Saturday, will make roughly the league rookie minimum salary of $325,000, allowing the Bucs to snatch him away from the Bengals and other teams hoping to add him to their practice squads. The minimum salary for practice squad players is less than $100,000.
Briscoe, 6-2 and 210 pounds, scored a 50-yard touchdown in the Bengals' preseason finale on Thursday. Briscoe played his college ball at Kansas.
