Bucs release P Chris Bryan
The Bucs will take another spin on the punter roulette wheel.
Tampa Bay released punter Chris Bryan on Tuesday after another poor performance at Cincinnati Sunday.
In five games, Bryan punted 23 times for 860 yards, a 37.4-yard average and a 34.2-yard net. The former Austalian rules football player has been very inconsistent, including a 15-yard punt against the Bengals.
The Bucs will likely choose from the three punters they worked out Tuesday: rookie Brent Bowden, T.J. Conley and Robert Malone.
The Bucs drafted Bowden in the sixth round from Virginia Tech but cut him at the end of the preseason.
