Bucs rookie WR Mike Williams dazzles with one-handed TD catch
Bucs rookie receiver Mike Williams made a one-handed catch for a touchdown in practice that dazzled coaches and players Thursday.
"That was a great catch,'' coach Raheem Morris said. "And I was messing with him today. His coach came over and coached him up. I said, "Coach, get away from him!' But he was right. You clean some things with guys like that and their natural abilities come out.
"As a coach, your job is to put people in position to make plays. And once the guys get into position to make plays, they make dynamic plays. And the dynamic ones they make, as coaches, we take credit for. Right now, I coached Mike Williams how to make that one-handed grab today by myself, without the help of our receivers coach.
"He's a dynamic guy and he's special because of the things he can do on the field that you can't coach.''
