Bucs rookies to go against full squad at last

If the Bucs' rookie class thought the tempo was fast during the team's rookie minicamp was quick, they're in for an even more rude awakening next week.

Most of the Bucs' rookies will get their first opportunity to work with the veterans when OTAs begin Monday. These will be the first full-squad workouts of the offseason as the team embarks on a busy stretch of workouts. After next week, there's a break for Memorial Day, then there are four straight weeks of practices, including the mandatory mini-camp in late June.

It'll be a whirlwind experience for the rookie class, which will be charged with learning the offensive and defensive schemes while also getting accustomed to the speed, nuances and terminology of the NFL.

Things get cranked up Monday morning with a practice that's open to the media. We'll provide updates as they are warranted.
