Bucs S Tanard Jackson will play vs. the Eagles
Bucs safety Tanard Jackson will be activated and play Sunday against the Eagles.
Tampa Bay had a one-week roster exemption for Jackson, who is coming off a four-game suspension for violating the team's substance abuse policy.
But coach Raheem Morris said Jackson appeared to be in good physical condition during practice this week.
"Tanard is going to play,'' Morris said. "How much by the coaching staff at some point. He looked good this week, came back and looked like he was in good shape. He's been doing the right things, obviously. He had no problem with the heat. We had a record week for him so it was good to get him out there and run around.''
The Bucs still have to make a roster move by Saturday to activate Jackson. Morris said he was unsure if Jackson would start Sunday's game against the Eagles.
"Will he start? Me and (defensive backs coach) Joe Baker still have to talk about that,'' Morris said. "If he doesn't start, he's going to be in there pretty quickly with the rotation. If he starts, obviously he'll still be in a rotation (with Will Allen and Sabby Piscitelli).''
