Bucs safety Cody Grimm headed to the Hall of Fame -- sort of

Teammates are just now starting to figure out that Bucs rookie safety Cody Grimm has a famous father.

His dad, former Redskins guard Russ Grimm, will be immortalized on Saturday in Canton, Ohio when he is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Cody will be there in person as coach Raheem Morris assured Russ Grimm that his son would be in attendance despite the Bucs being in training camp.

Here's a Q&A I did with Cody earlier this week for the newspaper. He's quite excited about the weekend festivities and offers up some pretty funny memories of him and his dad over the years.

An interesting side note here is that this now makes two Bucs who have Hall-of-Fame fathers. Kellen Winslow Jr. follows in the footsteps of his dad, Kellen Winslow Sr., the former Chargers great.
