Bucs unlikely to pursue Randy Moss
Though star wide receiver Randy Moss has surprisingly become available, don't expect the Bucs to be reaching out for his services.
Moss was shockingly waived Monday by the Vikings, who had acquired him just three weeks ago from the Patriots. He can be claimed by any team through 4 p.m. Tuesday, as long as the club is willing to take on the remainder of his $6.4 million base salary. If unclaimed, Moss would be come an unrestricted free agent.
But coach Raheem Morris indicated the Bucs would be unlikely to pursue Moss, saying while the receiver has immense talent, they like the young receivers they have already.
"We have six young dynamic wideouts that we're building for the future - We love what we've got," Morris said. "We probably won't require Randy Moss' services right now."
