Bucs waive WR Brooks, K Lawrence
The Buce made a couple of minor roster moves today, waiving WR Chris Brooks and K Hunter Lawrence.
Both were signed as street free agents during the offseason. These moves perhaps were made now to give these players a head start going into next week when NFL clubs must make their first cuts.
Teams must go from their current 80-player maximum to a 75-player max on Tuesday. Final cuts, to 53 players, must be made by September 4.
