Aqib Talib has been named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his standout performance against the Cardinals on Sunday.

Talib finished with two huge interceptions. He returned one 45 yards for a touchdown while his second came with time running down and the Cardinals driving for a potential game-winning score. On the game-clincher, he snatched a pass out of the air that was intended for Larry Fitzgerald.

Talib now has five interceptions despite missing a game because of a league suspension. He ranks second in the NFL behind DeAngelo Hall (six).
