Deadline for franchise/tranisition tags looming but Bucs will pass
Bucs general manager Mark Dominik has said the team won't place a franchise or transition tag on any player by Thursday's 4 p.m. deadline.
Receiver Antonio Bryant earned $9.88-million as the Bucs' franchise player last season and will become an unrestricted free agent March 5 unless a new deal can be struck.
Dominik plans to meet with Bryant's agent this week in Indianapolis but as yet, there have been no substantive talks.
