Derrick Ward agrees to terms with Houston Texans
Derrick Ward didn't take long to find another job.
Ward agreed to terms today with the Houston Texans, giving them what they hope will be a boost to their running game.
According to the Houston Chronicle, here's what coach Gary Kubiak had to say about the move.
"We hope Derrick can run like did he when he was a very productive player with the Giants," he said. "He’s run a lot of zone plays like we run. He’s also played some special teams."
That sounds sort of what the Bucs were hoping they'd get when they signed Ward. Obviously, that didn't happen.
