Ex-Bucs Shelton Quarles, Jerramy Stevens arrested in separate incidents
Wanted to pass along the news that is currently posted on our homepage that ex-Bucs linebacker Shelton Quarles -- the current coordinator of pro scouting -- and former Bucs tight end Jerramy Stevens were arrested overnight in separate incidents.
Quarles was taken into custody around 2:30 a.m. this morning on Interstate 275 in Tampa when because police say he was driving under the influence. The 39-year old former Pro Bowl player refused to submit to blood-alcohol testing, according to jail records.
Stevens was arrested at 10:28 p.m. on battery charges, including a felony battery charge. He was released at 2:05 a.m. after posting $2,500 bond.
