Freeman not throwing at practice again

Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman, who suffered a right shoulder injury last week against the Titans, did not participate in throwing drills during the portion of Thursday's practice available to the media.

That marks the second consecutive day Freeman has been limited in practice. Coach Raheem Morris has said Freeman is day-to-day, and could get evaluated all the way up until Sunday before they decide if he can play against the Panthers. Freeman was still participating in practice, doing handoffs and joining with the other quarterbacks, but did not do any throwing.

Backup QB Josh Johnson would start if Freeman can't go. Morris has said what he needs to see from Freeman in practice in order to play him.

"He's got to go out and execute the game plan," Morris said. "If he can exeucte the game plan and give us the besrt chance to win, he'll play."

In other injury news, DE Adrian Clayborn (back) was back at practice, though it was unclear whether he'd be full participation or limited after sitting out yesterday. DE Michael Bennett (groin) and DT Brian Price (ankle) were not practicing.
