Graham will take over tailback spot for injured Blount vs. Saints
The Bucs will have to put their running game on the shoulders of 31-year-old Earnest Graham.
Starting tailback LeGarrette Blount did not practice Wednesday and is nursing a left knee injury he suffered at San Francisco. It's unlikely he will play Sunday against the Saints.
That means Graham, who rushed for 898 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2007, will have a chance to make plays from the tailback position.
"You guys know Earnest has done everything for us,'' quarterback Josh Freeman said. "Whether it's playing fullback, being the third down back and now this week he's going to get the majority of the reps, the majority of the carries. I mean, he's done it before...he's a guy we know can get it done.''
