Jon Gruden traveling to Persian Gulf on USO tour

Jon Gruden may not be currently employed by the NFL, but that doesn't mean he is any less of a draw.

The former Buccaneers coach, fired by the team in January, will be one of several current and former coached to take part in a USO tour to visit troops in the Middle East.

Joining him will be former Steelers coach Bill Cowher, Giants coach Tom Coughlin, Titans coach Jeff Fisher and Ravens coach John Harbaugh. The tour will last several days according to the league. Countries on the itinerary haven't been identified.

The NFL has been participating in USO tours since the Vietnam War, but this one is unique in that it will include only coaches. Typicially, the tours involve players making the trips abroad.
