Keeping track: An update on the Bucs' key injuries

With the Bucs just days away from their first preseason game, here’s an update on the team's key injuries, a long list for a team that hasn’t played so much as an exhibition game.

The Bucs are going to have to work around some of these injuries as there are some important players on this list:

SS Mark Barron (toe): Practiced more today; Getting closer

WR Arrelious Benn (knee sprain): Could miss up to a month

DE Michael Bennett (undisclosed): Out since Wednesday

CB E.J. Biggers (broken foot): On the shelf for quite some time

DE Da’Quan Bowers (Achilles): A long shot to play this season

DT Amobi Okoye (knee): nearing 100 percent after offseason surgery

OT Donald Penn (calf): Could miss several weeks

CB Aqib Talib (hamstring): Missed today’s practice; Described as minor
