LB Angelo Crowell out for year

Injuries are starting to pile up for the Bucs.

LB Angelo Crowell will miss the season with a torn biceps muscle in Saturday's 24-23 in at Jacksonville. The Bills free agent, who missed all of 2008 with a knee injury, had been unable to participate much in training camp due to a hamstring strain.

Coach Raheem Morris said Quincy Black is basically considered the starting strongside linebacker.

Receiver Michael Clayton aggravated his hamstring in the first half against the Jags and took himself out of the game. Morris said he will not play Thursday against the Miami Dolphins.

Running back Kareem Huggins suffered a knee injury that could keep him out of action for a couple weeks. Cornerback Elbert Mack has an ankle injury that will likely force him to miss Thursday's game.

Center Jeff Faine (groin) and receiver Kelly Campbell (shoulder) are expected to return this week. Safeties Will Allen (shoulder) and Donte Nicholson are questionable.
