McCoy, Foster among injured Bucs back on practice field
The beat-up Bucs are taking it easy this week, conducting just one practice during this bye week. They're on the field now for a 90-minute workout, and a couple key injured players are back on the field.
Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (ankle) and linebacker Mason Foster (ankle) are participating. Additionally, running back LeGarrette Blount (knee) worked with the team during the first two periods before heading back to the training room to continue his rehab. His brief appearance should be considered promising.
There are still a group of injured players who aren't yet practicing.
Offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah (ankle), center Jeff Faine (biceps) and safety Tanard Jackson (hamstring) are not a part of today's practice. Jackson was walking around the field observing practice but later departed for the weight room, perhaps for conditioning work.
Coach Raheem Morris will address reporters after practice.
