McCoy will be held out of tonight's practice at RJS
Gerald McCoy's injured right shoulder is not a big concern, but the Bucs are cautious enough to hold him out of tonight's practice at Raymond James Stadium.
McCoy suffered a strained right rotator cuff in Friday's practice but participated in the Bucs' walk-through Saturday morning.
The third overall pick in the draft in 2010 declined to comment on his injury Saturday.
"Tell them you shook my hand and he was fine,'' McCoy said.
But coach Raheem Morris indicated that the team wants to limit his exposure to contact right now.
"Day to day,'' Morris said. "He went this morning. Probably won't go tonight. He's practice-to-practice, day-to-day, however you want to word that. We'll check on him and see what's going on with the banging and stuff like that, but really comfortable where we are as far as injuries and things like that.''
