Meet Donald Penn, TV personality
Bucs left tackle Donald Penn should be garnering more attention this year as one of the best at his position, with coach Raheem Morris saying he's having a Pro Bowl caliber season.
But if Penn is still flying under the radar, an ESPN audience will likely get a good glimpse of his personality Friday, as his correspondent piece for the "Jim Rome is Burning" show is expected to air.
Penn took an ESPN camera crew around the Bucs lockerroom Wednesday morning, interviewing - and joking - with teammates (as well as media). The segment will definitely draw some laughs, from the time when Penn asks DE Stylez G. White what it is like to go up against one of the top left tackles (Penn) in practice.
"It's delightful," White says, smiling.
Or when Penn goes up to TE Kellen Winslow, asking him to rate the top three Bucs with the "best hands' on the team, with a preface, "Now, I'm No. 1," Penn quipped.
Penn, who caught a touchdown pass earlier this year, received an interesting answer from Winslow, who said tackle James Lee and Aqib Talib.
"It was fun," Penn said.
