Mike Sullivan awaits end of Bears' first-round interviews
Bucs offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan left Wednesday’s interview with the Chicago Bears in Atlanta with positive vibes, but he’s still in the early stages of the process.
We’re told that the Bears are expected to interview as many as 10 candidates for their head-coaching vacancy, for which Sullivan is being considered.
After those initial interviews, the Bears will likely conduct a second round of interviews with a couple of finalists, much like the Bucs did in their own coaching search last year.
If Sullivan is among that group, that will be your indication that he’s got a real chance at landing the job.
However, it will probably be a week or more before that happens, so nothing is imminent on this front.
