Miller returns to practice, hopes to play Sunday
The Bucs got some encouraging news on the injury front today, as defensive tackle Roy Miller returned to practice for the first time this week and hopes to play Sunday against the Eagles.
Miller had been sidelined with a head injury he said he suffered in the second quarter of the loss to Denver. He's been undergoing tests all week, but at least was cleared to practice today.
"We're going to be cautious," coach Greg Schiano said.
Schiano had said earlier this week it's possible that, even if Miller plays, he won't play as much as he usually does. Miller, for his part, wants to be on the field.
"No doubt," Miller said. "I feel part of this hteam, I feel like I have a responsibility of this team. So definitely, I want to go out there. And we're in the hunt right now. I want to be out there, and we'll have to let those guys make that decision."
