Morris Claiborne says he's bound for Tampa
The Bucs are in prime position to land one of the stars of this year's NFL Draft, including LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne.
Now, it appears the Bucs, who pick fifth overall, are getting set to take a closer look at Claiborne. According to the player's Twitter page, Claiborne is en route to Tampa, presumably for a meeting with the Bucs.
It's unclear whether Claiborne is scheduled for a simple visit or an actual workout, but Claiborne could be available when the Bucs pick. The Browns, who select fourth, are also thought to be quite interested in Claiborne, but there's also a good chance they could select Alabama running back Trent Richardson or Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
The Bucs will get a look at Richardson, too. He and the team are arranging a private workout in the near future.
