Nicks, Wright among those limited in practice
Bucs coach Greg Schiano wants to the make the heat an ally, but it's been an enemy to several key players.
All Pro guard Carl Nicks left practice early as a result of some dehydration issues and cornerback Eric Wright had tightness in his back, Schiano said.
"He was feeling woozy,'' Schiano said of Nicks. "We’re not going to mess around with that. today was without a doubt, the toughest day physically since we’ve been here. that flag didn’t move a heck of a lot.''
Defensive ends Amobi Okoye (knee) and Michael Bennett did not practice for the second straight day while safeties Ronde Barber and rookie Mark Barron (foot) were limited to individual work. A 16th year veteran, Barber is getting consecutive days with no work during the team period.
Tackle Donald Penn (calf), receiver Arrelious Benn (MCL sprain), cornerback E.J. Biggers (foot) and defensive end Da'Quan Bowers are on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
