As of now, Gerald McCoy's signing is not imminent

Bucs first-round pick Gerald McCoy is on his way to Tampa from his home state of Oklahoma, but his agent says that is not an indication that McCoy's signing is imminent.

Ben Dogra, who is also co-representing No. 1 overall pick Sam Bradford, dispeled the notion that the deal was done in a text message to the the St. Petersburg Times tonight.

"He has a house in Tampa, but I absolutely guarantee there is zero deal with Tampa," Dogra wrote. "But I will do my best to get a deal done."

McCoy, the third overall pick, said several weeks ago that he might be willing to wait until Bradford, his college teammate, signed his deal to agree to terms on his own contract.

There remains a chance that might actually happen, but it appears it's too early to know.
