OTAs underway; Bucs make a few roster moves
The Bucs are on the field for their first day of OTAs, and the attendance looks to be pretty good.
LB Geno Hayes (shoulder) is back on the field after offseason surgery but rookies Dekoda Watson (hamstring) and Erik Lorig (pectoral) are still being held out of drills.
The notable absentees appear to be LT Donald Penn, who is opting out of the voluntary workouts because of a contract dispute, TE Kellen Winslow and RB Derrick Ward. Winslow and Ward have been present quite frequently for voluntary conditioning workouts during the past several weeks and are expected to be present for most of the 14 OTA practices.
Elsewhere, the Bucs announced a couple of roster moves, signing C Jeff Tow-Arnett, an undrafted prospect from the University of Minnesota and long snapper Chris Mauriello, an undrafted free agent from Penn State.
Additionally, the team released WR Damola Adeniji.
