Raheem Morris interrupts practice for gassers
One quick note about the afternoon practice today.
We continue to see examples of coach Raheem Morris emphasizing accountability. During a full-squad drill during with which he wasn't particularly thrilled, Morris stopped the workout, told players to line up along the sideline, then proceeded to have them run a couple of quick gassers across the field.
It was his way of sending a wake-up call to his team. It wasn't particularly harsh, but it was certainly a not-so-subtle message, another of Morris' creative methods of making a point.
Morris is young and is widely considered a players' coach, but he is making a consistent effort to establish himself as a disciplinarian.
Interestingly, he manages to do it all with a smile.
