Report: Talib involved in Texas shooting
Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib is identified as a "person of interest'' on a Garland (Tex.) Police Department incident report concerning a shooting, according to the Dallas Observer.
Pending an investigation, Talib could be arrested and charged with anything from discharging a firearm within a municipality (class A misdemeanor) to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (second-degree felony), the Observer reports.
According to the police report, on March 21 Talib allegedly attempted to pistol-whip his sister's boyfriend and then, after a struggle, used his mother's pistol to fire several shots at the boyfriend as he fled the scene on foot.
