Raheem Morris said last week he wanted to decide some position battles before the third preseason game.

The envelope please.

Eagles free agent Sean Jones has won the starting strong safety job over Sabby Piscitelli and Panthers free agent Keydrick Vincent will start at left guard instead of Jeremy Zuttah.

At least those were the significant changes on the Bucs depth chart released Monday for Saturday's preseason game against Jacksonville.

It also appears that Kareem Huggins has drawn even with Derrick Ward as the No. 2 tailback behind Cadillac Williams.

Piscitelli struggled in 2009 during his only season as a starter, recording two interceptions and only three passes defensed in 16 games. He also took poor angles to the ballcarrier and missed tackles.

That performance prompted the Bucs to sign Jones, who started nine games for the Eagles and recorded 61 tackles, one sack, five passes defensed and two interceptions.

The 6-foot-5, 325-pound Vincent started 30 games the past two seasons for the Panthers, who were among the top rushing teams in the NFL. At 32 years old and entering his 10th season, the Bucs believe he will solidify the left side of their offensive line while Zuttah provides depth at center and guard.

Huggins leads the Bucs in rushing this preseason with 99 yards on 16 carries. He has caught Ward, who has rushed for just 31 yards on 17 attempts (1.8 yard avg.) and left Saturday's game against the Chiefs with a concussion.
