Bucs coach Greg Schiano considered using a timeout with 2 seconds remaining in the Bucs 41-34 loss to the Giants last Sunday after ordering his defense to attack quarterback Eli Manning as he attempted to take a knee and run out the clock.

"I did (think about taking a timeout)," Schiano told Melissa Stark of the NFL Network Thursday. "But I also saw what was going on out there. And I guess my judgment was to not call it because I didn't want anybody to get ejected, anybody to get penalized, fined. I said, you know what? Better let this go. Because I've done it."

Schiano was asked if he concerns himself with violating any of the NFL's unwritten rules? 

"Well, I know one unwritten rule: We gotta win," Schiano said. "And if we still have a chance to win, we're playing to win."
