Starting cornerback Aqib Talib will miss rest of season with hip injury
Aqib Talib will miss the remainder of the season with a hip injury that he suffered in Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Falcons.
Talib tore a tendon from a bone near his hip, but the injury will not require surgery.
It could be a devastating loss for the Bucs. Entering Sunday's game against Atlanta, Talib was tied for second in the NFL with six interceptions.
Second-year pro E.J. Biggers is expected to start in his place for the remaining four games.
