Stroughter makes big play, but suffers left foot injury
Bucs receiver Sammie Stroughter was one of the few bright spots early on for Tampa Bay, with his impressive 78-yard kickoff return setting up the team's first field goal.
But Stroughter's day was cut short, suffering a left foot injury on the run that could keep him out. Stroughter had a walking boot around his left foot in the lockerroom post-game, declining to comment as he headed out with the help of crutches.
Coach Raheem Morris had said they planned to rotate kick returners anyway, with Preston Parker and Micheal Spurlock also getting looks, so they could step in if Stroughter misses any time.
