Talib goes through "full battery" of practice, looks possible he'll play Saturday

The Buccaneers got some good news on the injury front Tuesday, as cornerback Aqib Talib went through a "full battery" of practice, according to coach Raheem Morris, an encouraging sign he'll play Saturday against the Cowboys.

Talib left the Panthers game two weeks ago after the first series when he aggravated a nagging hamstring injury, and missed last week’s game against the Jaguars.

“He’s one of those guys that’s kind of different when it comes to healing and comes to getting better,” Morris said. “He’s fired up about playing.”

In other injury news, Morris said DT Brian Price was limited after his ankle bothered him during warm-ups. Morris said WR Arrelious Benn suffered a mild concussion Sunday and went through the battery of tests. “Hopefully they’re saying he’s okay and cleared to go,” Morris said.

*The Bucs went through a little longer practice Tuesday, with a few extra periods, as coaches emphasized fundamentals in drills for tackling and ball security. Drills included ones with punt returns, having lost two fumbles on returns in Sunday’s game.
