Talib won't be disciplined for post-game altercation
The Bucs have received word that Aqib Talib won't be fined for engaging in a post-game verbal altercation with a game official on Sunday.
Talib, who had to be restrained by teammates after the official responded to Talib's profane comments with one of his own, was protesting a pass interference call in Sunday's game that positioned the Ravens for a critical touchdown late in the first half. Talib and the official continued to have dialogue after the play, and that dialogue obviously continued as the team and the officiating crew made their way off the field through the same tunnel.
And based on the NFL's statement on the matter, it appears the league won't discipline the official, either.
"Both individuals have been reminded that any post-game conversations between players and officials should be more positive in nature," the league's statement read.
