Tampa Bay Buccaneers lineman arrested on a DUI charge

A 27-year-old offensive lineman who had been with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for about a month was arrested early Tuesday on a DUI charge after police say he was found asleep at the wheel outside Raymond James Stadium.

Police said Marcus Johnson, of Oxford, Miss., was sleeping in his 2010 Chevrolet Impala in the middle of the intersection at W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and N Dale Mabry Highway about 4 a.m.

Johnson was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail around 6 a.m. Bail was set at $500.

Johnson was released today by the Bucs, according to a news release issued by the team.
