Tampa Bay Bucs Coach Morris: "It's not my moment. It's our moment."
Raheem Morris had an interesting response when asked Wednesday if the magnitude of the moment would hit him Sunday as he arrived for his first regular-season game as Bucs head coach.
"You know, this thing's not about me," he said. "It's not my moment. It's our moment. It's our team's moment. It's going to play the Dallas Cowboys. If I'm worried about me and my moment, the Dallas Cowboys are probably going to beat my butt. I can't worry about.
"I've got to get myself prepared to play a really good team...and maybe a great team, and you have to be determined to play this talented team, coached by a talented guy (Wade Phillips) who's been in this league a long time and doesn't care about Raheem's moment. And neither do I at this point.
"I'll have time for my moment, hopefully, when I'm Mike Tomlin. Not even Mike Tomlin, because he won't talk about his moment yet. When I'm sitting in some broadcast booth and you guys are colleagues of mine, I'll talk about my moment."
