Titans coach Fisher regrets letting Blount get away
Titans coach Jeff Fisher admitted he regrets releasing running back LeGarrette Blount.
The former Oregon star was claimed off waivers by the Bucs and leads the team with 359 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 75 carries this season.
Asked if he wishes he had held onto Blount, Fisher told Titans Insider, "Every day. I thought we could get him to the practice squad, knowing that when and if there was any kind of interest, we could bring him back to the active roster. That didn't happen, but I'm very, very happy for him.”
The Titans apparently are still searching for a big running back and brought in former Chiefs running back Larry Johnson for a workout Tuesday.
