Two more draft picks getting closer to signing

After fifth-round pick Xavier Fulton signed on Wednesday, it appears the Bucs will likely have more rookie deals to announce soon.

They currently are in conversations with fourth-rounder Kyle Moore and seventh-rounder E.J. Biggers, according to their agent, Drew Rosenhaus. And general manager Mark Dominik said today there's been earlier movement this year on later-round picks while indicating the Bucs could have more deals in place by next week.

Deals for earlier picks, like that of QB Josh Freeman, are likely to come later. Another thing to keep in mind: Dominik says the Bucs currently have 85 players, including the five unsigned rookies. They'll have to release some players as rookies sign as they are allowed only a maximum of 80 players under contract during the offseason.

Some borderline prospects must really show up in minicamp next week if they're going to give the coaching staff reason to pause and reconsider them.
