Warrick Dunn also weighing options

RB Warrick Dunn hasn't arrived at a decision about his future, either, according to his agent.

Jim Steiner said Dunn, released by the Bucs on Wednesday, "would like to play under the right set of circumstances." Steiner didn't elaborate on what the right scenario might be, but it's likely to be a combination of factors that include salary and opportunity for playing time.

Dunn, 34, almost certainly won't be viewed by potential suitors as an every-down back. But it's conceivable he could play a key role as a third-down runner who can provide a change of pace from a downhill back while also serving as a proficient receiver out of the backfield.

Dunn had 1,116 total yards in 2008, including a team-high 738 rushing yards and 330 receiving yards. A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Dunn ranks 19th in NFL history with 10,967 rushing yards.

As for his abrupt release from the Bucs, Steiner admits Dunn was disappointed but knows the move was about nothing more than business.
