Winslow, Talib among Bucs skipping Miami trip
The Bucs have arrived in South Florida for Saturday night's preseason opener against the Dolphins, but they are down a few players.
Tight end Kellen Winslow (knee), cornerback Aqib Talib (personal), cornerback Myron Lewis (hamstring), running back Clifton Smith (hamstring), defensive tackle Brian Price (hamstring) and safety De'von Hall (undisclosed injury) remained in Tampa and will not play.
The Bucs said Winslow's absence is just precautionary. He has practiced on a regular basis during the past week and apparently could have played tomorrow night. Winslow is expected to play next week against the Chiefs. Talib's absence is because of a personal matter that should not affect him long term and is not a result of any legal issues.
