Gerald McCoy leaves game with calf injury
If the Bucs are going to beat the Broncos today, they may have to do it without Pro Bowl defensive tackle Gerald McCoy.
McCoy left the game in the second quarter after injuring his left calf. He was slow coming off the field, was evaluated on the sidelines, and then walked slowly into the locker room. The Bucs say his return is doubtful.
The Bucs have limited depth at defensive tackle, with Clinton McDonald as a starter and Akeem Spence as the only true backup DT. The Bucs will utlilize rookies DaVonte Lambert and Channing Ward, who can play at end or tackle.
