Jackson, Williams did not practice Wednesday
While the benching of quarterback Josh Freeman took center stage Wednesday, not to be forgotten are two key absences from today's practice.
Neither of the Bucs top receivers, Mike Williams (hamstring) or Vincent Jackson (ribs) participated today. It was a rain-altered workout, so they could be taking some caution there.
Williams indicated after practice he was feeling fine and looked forward to catching some balls on Sunday. But Jackson, who missed the second half of the loss to the Patriots due to his injury, wasn't around in the open lockeroom session.
Also, left guard Gabe Carimi was still missing from practice due to illness. Tight end Tom Crabtree was limited.
