No Barron, Watson at Friday's Bucs practice
TAMPA -- The Bucs opened Friday's practice without two key defensive starters, as safety Mark Barron was absent as he recovers from a hamstring injury and linebacker Dekoda Watson was held out with a groin injury.
Two days before the team plays at the Saints in their season finale, the Bucs would be shorthanded against Drew Brees and a prolific New Orleans offense, still uncertain of its postseason fate. The Bucs had second-year safety Keith Tandy -- who has started four games as a fill-in this season -- and Adam Hayward working at strongside linebacker.
The Bucs' linebacker depth isn't much this week, as Ka'Lial Glaud has been limited by a knee injury, leaving Danny Lansanah -- inactive in his only two weeks on roster -- as the only linebacker on the bench. Lansanah hasn't had a tackle in the NFL since his rookie season in 2008.
