Offensive lineman among Bucs signings from rookie camp
The Bucs are preparing to sign an unknown number of players from this weekend’s rookie minicamp, and former Northern Michigan offensive lineman Jace Daniels is among those receiving a contract.
The Bucs paid particular attention to offensive and defensive lineman during the weekend’s practices, two areas the team has a lack of depth.
Daniels was a two-year starter for his Division II program and is a player the Bucs think has some flexibility to play multiple positions, including on the interior of the offensive line.
The Bucs are expected to release a number of other transactions after they become official on Monday. Because the Bucs' active roster is at the regular-season maximum of 90, they will have to release a current player for every prospect they decide to sign.
